Advantages of Steam Tracers
  • Steam tracing is used for analyzers and instrument impulse lines.
  • Light tracing is generally used to provide freeze protection for instrument impulse lines and process lines for analyzers. Provides protection over a longer length than than heavy traced designs.
  • Heavy tracing keeps the process tubing in direct contact with the tracer, and maintains higher process temperatures. It is used to provide process temperature maintenance for impulse lines for instrumentation, process lines for analyzers, sampling, additives and other small process lines.
  • Heavy tracing maintains close temperature profiles through seasonal ambient temperature changes.
  • Maintains consistent process temperature over a wide ambient temperature range.

O'Brien's TRACEPAK's Steam Traced Bundle Advantages:
  • Thermal Design Analysis provides information specific to your application. We'll design specialized bundles to meet your requirements.
  • TRACEPAK's urethane jacket allows installation at lower temperatures.
  • Ease of installation. Heat shrink end seal boots and parallel construction make TRACEPAK easier and quicker to install.

When you need to maintain temperatures between 50fF (10fC) and 200fF (93fC), or maintain protection over a longer length, TRACEPAK TPL is the answer. Best used for small diameter process lines for sampling and additives, freeze protection of instrument impulse lines, or process lines for analyzers.
  • Available with one or two 1/4-, 3/8- or 1/2-inch process lines with a 1/4-, 3/8-, or 1/2-inch steam tracer.
  • Tube materials available: welded 316 stainless steel, seamless 316 stainless steel, copper, PFA Teflon, and seamless Monel 400.
  • Tracer material available: welded 316 stainless steel, seamless 316 stainless steel, copper, and seamless Monel 400.
  • Fibrous glass insulation
  • TPU jacket, UV resistant. Black standard, other colors available

TRACEPAK TPH
Pre-insulated tubing bundle with heavy steam tracing

Tph.jpg (2574 bytes)

Look to TRACEPAK TPH when you need to maintain high process temperatures. Because the process tubing is in direct contact with the tracer, you'll maintain higher temperatures more efficiently. Excellent for viscosity control, instrument impulse lines, process lines for analyzers, sampling, additives and other small process lines.
  • Available with one or two 1/4-, 3/8- or 1/2-inch process lines with a 1/4-, 3/8-, or 1/2-inch steam tracer.
  • Tube materials available: welded 316 stainless steel, seamless 316 stainless steel, copper, PFA Teflon, and seamless Monel 400.
  • Tracer material available: welded 316 stainless steel, seamless 316 stainless steel, copper, and seamless Monel 400.
